We were recently asked to assist a client with market access research and with testing the waters insofar as level of interest in their products and services and forecasted level of demand is concerned.
Our client develops and promotes vendor managed inventory software, works closely with the aviation sector and has been assessing the possibility of competing in the pharmaceutical sector.
Our market access research and follow up report included the research and compilation of contact lists for all senior level decision makers globally spanning medium to top tier pharmaceutical companies. We established communication with numerous key decision makers spanning the proposed target audiences and the results were very clear in terms of degree of opportunity, highly specific proposed target audience based on fact and most suitable sales strategies for developing market presence and creating tangible sales opportunities.
Our market access research was a success as it not only generated four sales leads but also an insightful report which made it clear that there was real opportunity for the client concerned and therefore paved the way for the planning of an imminent sales and marketing campaign through which to access and penetrate the pharmaceutical sector. We are due to meet with the client concerned in the near future with a view to planning and a executing a successful sales and marketing campaign during 2011.
